这是老北京西北的外城城墙角楼，始建于1553年。于1968年拆除，是最后一座被拆掉的角楼。前景中的骆驼正驮着煤炭进京，当时的煤炭是国内的主要燃料。摄影：赫达·莫里逊（Hedda Morrison，1908-1991）。
