  • 2020年TikTok被特朗普打击的时候，字节跳动在美国的绝大多数股东都被动员起来开展游说，但在这次，几乎所有股东都保持着沉默；

  • Jeff Yass是唯一一个出面试图斡旋的股东，他也是共和党的金主，之前和特朗普见面就被猜测是不是有施加影响导致特朗普后来对于TikTok的扭捏表态；

  • 投资机构普遍认为没必要在TikTok这件事情上得罪华盛顿，如果站队保持忠诚，可能有利于他们在其他业务方向上获得奖赏，比如对AI的监管议程；

  • 红杉资本的态度算是180转变，负责帮助TokTok解决政府关系的合伙人辞职了，红杉自己作为美元基金也在去年拆掉了中国的子公司，它表现出避免出现任何被视为贪恋中国市场的表现；

  • 部分股东正在抱团互相安慰，认为TikTok即使退出美国也能继续增长，就像它也不在印度运营，全球市场依然非常广阔，且意味着对于字节跳动的持股依然价值极高，这家公司去年的收入增长是一个奇迹；

  • 投资者主要对张一鸣欠缺地缘危机感的迟钝不满，过去几年里美国两党一直都在循序推动TikTok威胁论，但字节跳动的应对非常消极，甚至有种不当回事的态度；

  • 而TikTok在应激后给美国用户弹窗，则对法案的推进造成了适得其反的效果，议员们普遍厌恶科技公司绕过传统游说程序自行其是的做法，过于傲慢（Arrogant）。
