Right before the election, the last administration signed a 15-year lease on a fancy DC building for USAGM. The cost to American taxpayers? A quarter of a billion dollars—for a building not even equipped to BROADCAST.

I just canceled the lease—I also learned that this agency, whose purpose is to report the news, was outsourcing the responsibility to outlets like the AP, Reuters, and the French press.

We canceled those contracts. That's another $53 million saved for the American taxpayer.
